LETS POST ABOUT THE JAPAN TRIP!
DAY 1 - OFF TO OSAKA!
Reached airport pretty early. About 8? Walked around changi airport t3 until about 9, assemble at 9:45 cos need to check in earlier.
Went duty-free shopping after the passport check with abigail, linette ( i think ), chrisdale and some other ppl. If that ppl is you, sorry ah? No offence! I forget. Heehee!
Got onto the plane at about midnight. About 1am, Weee! The plane flew off! During the 6 hour flight to Osaka, okay, i could not sleep. Really, cos too attracted to the in-flight video screen bah.
Reached Osaka Kansai Airport about 8:40am Japan Time. After stepping out of the airport, OMG! Cold loh! Hope that Singapore is like that weather.
First stop of the Japan trip is the Osaka Tezuka Manga Museum? Saw a lot of cartoon like astro boy. Got to make my own animation with the help of the workers there.
Hmmm, drew tortoise as my animation? LOL! Next, lunched at a Chinese restaurant. After that, went to Shinsaibashi and shopped with Abigail, Chrisdale, Lycia nad Rachel.
Like what Abigail said, too bad. I need to enter a girls shop. But is fine with me :)
Didn't know got Uniqlo there. Woot! Brought a white plain t-shirt there which cost 500 yen, which is hmmm, about $7? WORTH IT!
Walked around Shinsaibashi after that. Ohh, Im so jealous on how Japanese dressed up. Can I learn from them?
After that fun shopping trip, went back to the hotel. Osaka Plaza Hotel. Realised that the bathroom is so small, Gee! A almost tall guy in a small bathroom? LOL! Jk!
DAY 2 -TAKAYAMA IS COMING UP NEXT!
Before going to Takayama, went to the Instant Ramen Museum. Saw how instant cup noodle processed. Able to design my very own instant cup noodle. Erm, my design pretty weird lah. Yupps, tortoise once again. LOL!
Next, to the Kiyomizhu Temple. Learnt about the temple and how the Japanese prayed to the God of Fortune. Throw 5 yen, clap 2 times and bow. That should do the trick!
Off to Takayama! Ate a Japanese steamboat before heading back to Ohayohsan Hotel. And btw, there was nobody staying the hotel except My teachers, friends, tour leader, tour guide and I. Sounds scary ehh?
DAY 3 - UP NEXT - FUJI!
Before heading there, went to Shirakawago. realised that the houses there was very different in Singapore. Houses in Singapore were made of bricks and cements, but in Shirakawago, the houses were made of wood and straws! Sounds interesting and it was a rare oppotunity!
Next, we went to the tea farm. Learnt how tea leaves are processed. Lastly, and also the most important part was visiting MOUNT FUJI!
It was freezing cold there! And ohh, able to see the highest point of mount fuji. How lucky! Took some pictures before heading back to the hotel. And byw, saw a lot of deers along the way! LOL!
Went to Koryu Hotel. Hmmm, changed to yutaka before going to eat dinner in the hotel restaurant. Erm, i wear the yukata very weird lah! Hope nobody will post a picture of me wearing that!
DAY 4 - OFF TO TOKYO!
Before going to Tokyo, went to TAchikawa Bonsaikan, or Disaster Prevention Centre. Okay, felt how strong 7.0 magnitude earthquake and learnt some safety tips during an earthquake evacuation.
Ohh, please! The earthquake was damn scary. Shaking very wildly. We must be lucky that Singapore does not have any earthquake!
After that, school visit! Visited Columbia International School. Hmmm, students there very friendly but I so shy, never communicate with them! I should have talked to them, know them more! ARGH!
Next, think i'm in tokyo? Went to Asakusa Temple for a short visit, and then to Nakamise Shopping Arcade and shopping.
Ahh, the cookies and cream ice cream there was damn freakin nice! But, ordered to eat inside the shop =.=
And lastly, after a Japanese dinner, went to the entrance of Tokyo University and took a group photo. I must study hard to go there! Gambate JianHe! Stayed in Sunshine City Prince Hotel. O.0 didn;t that hotel is famous.
DAY 5 - STILL AT TOKYO!
Off to Ghibli Museum in the morning and exhibit around that cartoon-filled museum. Able to see a short movie in their mini cinema. About rat became a sumo and fight?
The movie is damn hilarious, laughed through that 13 minutes long movie.
Up next, visited a Japanese school after lunch. Hiyashi Ayase Junior School. Great! I did my part, communicating with the students there.
Uh-huh. They are friendly. At least is better than the other school visit!
After the fun school visit, went Harajuku. Ahh, that was the time that I panick. Cos, I WANT TO GO TOILET! OMG!
Also, Linetter got stomach ache. So, ran to Mac nearby and do business. Hmm, Harajuku is like for girls only. So, i didn't buy anything from there.
Lastly, the trip ends with a yummy steamboat and Shinjuku. Oishi!
DAY 6 - BACK TO SINGAPORE!
Morning went to Tokyo Narita Airport and check-in. Hugged the tour guide. Auntie Phyllis, i will remember you okay!
Shopped at the FaSoLa duty-free shopping. Erm, the name very weird? And then, took A380 home.
Well, there goes my visit in Japan. Ahh, I want to go back cos i didn;t get enought of Japan!
